Will Smith is a Con Man in First Trailer for Ficarra & Requa's 'Focus'
releases on February 27th, 2015.
"I can convince anyone of anything." Following the first look photos this morning, the first trailer for Will Smith's latest film Focus has arrived. The film is directed by Crazy Stupid Love filmmaking duo John Requa & Glenn Ficarra, and they seem to be injecting the romance from that film into the world of deception. Smith plays a con man who takes a beautiful woman (Margot Robbie) under his wing, but while he's turning her into a great con artist, he's also falling for her. That complicates things when she has to use her sexuality to help pull off a big job. It doesn't look bad, but also doesn't seem remarkable. Watch?
Here's the first trailer for Glenn Ficarra & John Requa's Focus direct from YouTube:
Focus is written and directed by Glenn Ficarra & John Requa (Crazy Stupid Love, I Love You Phillip Morris). The film follows a professional conman (Will Smith) and someone just learning the criminal art (Margot Robbie of The Wolf of Wall Street and About Time) and how their past relationship comes back into play when they meet up again years later as one of them is planning an elaborate con in Buenos Aires. Rodrigo Santoro also stars in the film which Warner Bros. Pictures releases on February 27th, 2015.
